I had quite a fascinating May. And I feel the desire to share one awakening I experienced. It was all about the energy we feel when we are doing our life's work, what some may consider "God's work."

God Provides the Energy;
We All Provide the Work
I thought there was no way I could do it. It was impossible. I was scheduled to do 13 presentations in two days. Thirteen!
It was part of a schedule during my last trip to Dallas, Texas. Six presentations on day 1 and seven presentations on day 2 to middle school children and then a one-time presentation to adults in the evening.Although the most I had ever done was five presentations in one day, I believed I had enough energy to complete 3 or 4 presentations in a day.
Where would I get all the energy to be able to finish this overwhelming duty?
It occurred to me that when you are doing God's work, the divine source provides all the energy, all the resources needed. When I left the event I felt stronger knowing that the spirit was working with me, through me, for me. This experience led me to realize that my journey, which started with forgiveness, is now leading me to expand to include the awareness of abundance and prosperity as it relates to forgiveness.
For me, prosperity is not just about the almighty dollar (though there is nothing wrong with an abundant material life), but about a "spiritual currency" that is produced as a result of doing what you would consider God's work in your life. Truly it's the spiritual currency plus the material dollar that equals peace and prosperity in life.
And these higher states of reality can be found when we first learn the art of forgiveness. Through forgiveness, there are no axes to grind with anyone. You live not in resentment or guilt. Everyone has a path that could implement forgiveness. For me I was able to forgive my son's killer, as well as forgive myself for not spending more time with my son Tariq or being there like I needed to be there as a father. By not harboring guilt in myself or resentment for others, I have a free flowing psyche which God can use in His will, helping to create a space for purpose and energy which will then create prosperity and peace...

Truly it's the spiritual currency plus the material dollar that equals peace and prosperity in life.

I feel my level of prosperity is much higher than when my son was alive though I do not have as large an income as before. And it's that level of commitment to serve that is creating prosperity ... and all that energy I have to do the work before me.
All this awareness and awakening has led me to create a new three-day program in July where I will be teaching that the journey of forgiveness has a destination of not only peace but also prosperity. Please join me if you can - if not in July, but at the least on the path of peace and prosperity - a path we take when we combine the clear space created by forgiveness with the higher purpose of serving God's will for us.
