We are all spiritual beings in a human form. We don't know much about the soul, but I've really begun to appreciate the importance of a strong spiritual foundation. In many ways TKF's message in schools provides that foundation. We take the concept of non-violence and we teach about choices, seeking forgiveness instead of revenge, and that everyone needs to be treated well and loved. When Ples and I relay our message it touches the soul. People always come up to me and say "You talked directly to my soul can I give you a hug." They say this because the message we are giving is from the soul. The soul predates human life, it's eternal. You can't kill it, wet it or burn it! It is eternal. I like to think Tariq is not really dead, just in another plane. He's risen to a different level of consciousness and is at home in a place where we're all eventually going to go. The idea that we can tap into the wisdom, compassion and clarity that resides in the soul is usually deficient in our culture. In truth, there is nothing the soul cannot achieve. The soul is the essence of our universe and the universe within us. It exists in us and outside of us and connects us all as one! Quote for the month:
