Azim Khamisa is available for consulting services for those selective non-profit organizations which have causes that align with Azim’s visions of a peaceful world.
From the onset of his career in 1971, Azim has volunteered in various philanthropic efforts throughout different parts of the world. To this day, he continues to work as a volunteer board member in numerous organizations, some of which are listed below. Ever since founding the Tariq Khamisa Foundation in 1995, he has gained more experience in all facets of the establishment of non-profit organizations, developing a mission and a vision, organizing a board and implementing the stated objectives of the organization. By special request, Azim provided consulting services to the National Youth Advocate Program and the Ohio Youth Advocate Program in the design and implementation of a program called CANEI (Constant And Never Ending Improvement). This program, which targets serious and violent juvenile offenders, is designed to return the offending youths that have committed violent acts to society as contributing and productive functioning members. The program - based on the concepts of Restorative Justice (discussed fully in Chapter 7 of the book Azim's Bardo: From Murder to Forgiveness - A Father's Journey) – has agencies in Altanta, San Diego, Chicago and Columbus.
Non-profit organizations seeking consultation are encouraged to contact Azim via the Contact Azim link above. SUPPORTED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
